Youth Protection Programs

The Boy Scouts of America has developed several programs to assist children, parents and all adult volunteers who are interested in the health and safety of youth and participants, to aid in the detection and prevention of child abuse. This comprehensive youth protection program formally began in 1988.

Parent's Guide

"How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse" is a pull-out booklet in the front of each handbook. As part of joining a pack or troop, the boy and his parent or guardian must read and discuss the exercises.

This other materials are available for you and your family.  Contact Dennis or the Scout office for more information.
